On December 28, the Marian Quiz Competition and prize distribution was held at cenacle, celebrating the remarkable achievements of participants. Thrissur Province took home the first prize, followed closely by Pala Province in second place, while Thalasserry Province secured the third prize. The awards were presented by General Superior Mother. Rosily Ozhukayil, who commended the sisters for their hard work and dedication. The competition attracted participants from various provinces, highlighting the spirit of knowledge and collaboration among provinces. The event concluded on a high note, with participants eagerly anticipating next year’s challenge.
Pranidhan course Date : 01-01-2025
On January 1st, a new Pranidhan batch entered with an enrollment of 40 participants eager to deepen their spiritual practice and final vows. The course, designed to guide individuals in understanding and strengthening their prayer and spiritual life, offers structured teachings, interactive discussions, and practical exercises.
The course is expected to run for several weeks, with sessions covering various aspects of prayer, including meditation, scripture-based prayers, and reflective practices.

In a heartfelt and inspiring ceremony yesterday, four buds formally began their lifelong commitment to spiritual service, taking their vows as nuns in front of family, friends, and members of the religious community.
The event, marked a new chapter for these buds as they chose to dedicate their lives to prayer, meditation, and selfless service. A spiritually enriching Inner Healing Retreat exclusively for junior sisters was successfully conducted at a retreat Aluva, drawing participants from various provinces . The week-long retreat, held from feb 1to 5, aimed to provide spiritual renewal, emotional healing, and deeper personal connection with God.
Organized by a team of experienced spiritual directors and counselors, the retreat offered a serene environment for reflection and renewal. Sessions focused on themes such as forgiveness, reconciliation, inner peace, and healing of past wounds, with a combination of prayer, guided meditation, scriptural reflection, and one-on-one counseling.

A solemn and scholarly symposium marking the 150th Death Centenary of Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialassery was held at Chambakkulam on May 25, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas Padiyath, the Bishop of Shamshabad, and attended by clergy, religious, scholars, and lay faithful.
In his inaugural address, Bishop Padiyath reflected on the life and legacy of Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialassery, emphasizing his deep spirituality, missionary zeal, and unwavering commitment to the Church. "His life continues to inspire generations of faithful to live with integrity, humility, and a heart for service," the Bishop said.

Questions focused on the historical background, pastoral initiatives, spiritual writings, and contributions of Mar Kurialassery to the Syro-Malabar Church.

The meeting, described by Vatican officials as “deeply spiritual and profoundly encouraging,” centered on the mission and global contributions of the SABS congregation, especially in the fields of education, healthcare, and Eucharistic devotion. Pope Leo XIV praised the sisters for their unwavering commitment to adoration and service, echoing the legacy of their founder, Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialachery.
During the audience, Rev. mother Rosily Ozhukayil shared updates on the congregation’s expanding missionary efforts across continents, including recent initiatives in Africa and Southeast Asia. She also expressed gratitude for the Church’s support and requested the Pope’s continued blessings for the sisters, particularly the younger members embracing religious life in today’s challenging world.

This marks an important step in their formation as they deepen their knowledge of Scripture, doctrine, and Church teachings.
